A casa di Marco

Holiday apartment between Natural Maremma’s park and Argentario’s sea

This holiday apartment of about 40 square meters is located in the village of Montiano (12th century) from whose hills the view embraces Argentario’s sea and Mount Amiata.

On the first floor of a modern building, the apt is composed by a bedroom with a double bed, a large living room with kitchenette, a bathroom and a terrace equipped with table and chairs overlooking the Maremma’s hills.

Ideal for two people, it can accommodate up to 4 by the sofa bed in the living room. Private parking inside the property and Wi-Fi connection with optical fiber.

In a strategic position, Montiano is a good starting point for days at the beach (Argentario 20km, Talamone 16km, Marina di Alberese 25km), archaeological and green excursions (Maremma Park, Ghiaccioforte Archaeological Park, Orbetello Natural Oasis) and visits to small villages rich in historical evidence (Sovana, Pitigliano, Magliano in Toscana).

Maremma Regional Park’s itineraries

Don’t forget that we are in a wine area where Morellino di Scansano is the main wine. Carateristics: red ruby color, tending towards garnet: the smell is intense, fine and pleasant; the flavor is dry, warm, somewhat tannic.

For sea lovers we recommend an excursion to the island of Giglio , one of the islands that make up the Tuscan Archipelago Park. Ferries from Porto Santo Stefano. Journey time is 1 hour. Info and Ferries ticket here.
