Casa vacanze Antica Pietra is located on the central Tuscany hills in the small medieval village of Casicello just few km from Montaione among San Gimignano, Volterra and Certaldo. This holiday house with private pool is the ideal place for those who love a slow holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, while remaining just a few kilometers from some of the most characteristic places in Tuscany.

Casa vacnze Antica Pietra is a medieval villa that has been completely renovated maintaining the characteristics of the past: terracotta floors, wooden beamed ceilings and original furniture from late nineteenth century. The garden offers an amazing solarium area, a swimming pool with hydromassage and some gazebos where you can dine or relax in front of a good glass of wine and the fantastic panorama of the Tuscan countryside hills.

The house consists of three floors

Ground floor is composed by kitchen and living room with direct access also to the garden, a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk beds and a bathroom with shower.

The first and second floors both have a kitchen-living room, 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a bathroom with shower. All kitchens have an oven and dishwasher. The house is equipped with air conditioning.

Surroundings

Not far from this holiday house with pool there’re a lot of place to visit: Chianti area – San Gimignano the city of the towers – Volterra alabaster town – Gambassi Terme with its spas. From Casa vacanze Antica Pietra you can easily reach Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca in one hour by car. The Via Francigena meets the Montaione area along the section that runs from San Miniato to Gambassi Terme. Green trails Hiking Network are in this area. Trail N°4 is so close to Casa Vacanza Antica Pietra.
