Beautiful sun-kissed townhouse with gorgeous terrace
Located in the historic heart of the tiny medieval town of Pescia in Tuscany, this lovely, ancient house is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the local ambience, as well as to explore the best of the stunning region of Tuscany.

Terrazza Giuliana is set out over three floors with a cosy and traditional living room that leads directly onto a beautiful private sun terrace that has ample space for eating and a comfortable sun lounger. Located just minutes from the 13th century cathedral, the River Pescia, the gorgeous town square, and all the local bars, cafes and restaurants, it’s both incredibly convenient, and full of charm and character.

The House
This beautiful sun-kissed townhouse has two large and stylish double bedrooms, each on its own floor to give you maximum privacy, and both have king size beds, large windows, and plenty of space to store all your clothes. The spacious master bedroom on the top floor also has a little sitting area.
There is a stylish and contemporary bathroom, which has been very recently renovated, and has a walk-in shower. The small kitchen is excellently equipped and has a lovely window looking directly onto the terrace.

The house enjoys traditional Tuscan thick stone walls, which help keep the property cool in summer and warm in winter. Unusually for a historic town house, there are windows at both the front and back of the property.
Surroundings
The property is just a short 20-25-minute drive to the stunning walled city of Lucca, one of the jewels of Tuscany, and only around 50 minutes to the world-famous historic centres of Florence and Pisa.

It is also the perfect base for fans of walking whether you prefer a gentle stroll in the countryside or you are a more experienced trekker or an expert hiker. Pescia is set in a narrow green valley, which is also the centre of a huge and beautiful natural conservation area (Svizzera Pesciatina with its 10 castles). Each of the 10 little villages enjoys stunning views and has its own magical atmosphere and beauty.
For those who are more inclined to wine tasting than walking, try a laid-back wine-tasting tour at the one of many local vineyards in Montecarlo.

The popular beaches at Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are only a one hour away. For the very adventurous, there is wild water swimming in the fast-running mountain river at Bagni di Lucca. Within an hour-and-a-half you could also be visiting the famouse Cinque Terre or San Gimignano, Siena and Volterra in the central Tuscany.
For the cooler months, don’t miss the nearby natural thermal baths at Monsummano Terme, where you can swim under the stars or in the natural mineral caves whatever the temperature outdoors!
What our guests say
Jacolien June 2023: We hebben genoten van ons appartement. Heerlijk je eigen plekje, en rustige buurt. Supermarkt dicht bij, dus als je zelf wou koken was ideaal. Verder lekker zonnig terrasje.
